If you are interested in applying to Austin College, please go to Admission, for information on application procedures and visa requirements for International Students.
The International Student Advisor (ISA) assists international students (those with F-1 or J-1 visas), by providing information about visa regulations and employment opportunities. The ISA seeks to introduce students to the campus, to assist them in adjusting to life in the U.S, to familiarize them with community resources.
The 2015 Orientation for New International Students begins on Wednesday, August 19, and classes begin on Thursday, August 27.
If you have decided to come to Austin College, see more information about Living on Campus for advice on what to bring with you for your room.
In order to work off-campus, students with an F-1 visa must obtain authorization from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a part of the Department of Homeland Security.
Austin College requires students to complete a third semester course in a foreign language. International students who have completed at least eight grades in a school where the language of instruction was not English will receive a waiver.
