Soprano Clarice Davidchik of Sherman will perform her Austin College Senior Recital on Tuesday, November 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Craig Hall’s Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Clarice is the daughter of Zack and Jennifer Davidchik.
For the recital, Clarice will perform music from composers Mozart, Caccini, Handel, Bizet, Chabrier, Hahn, Schubert, Brahms, and Blitztein.
Completing a major in music and a minor in theatre, Clarice is a member of the Austin College A Cappella Choir. She has been singing for 16 years and hopes to pursue a future in stage performance, specifically musical theatre.
“Austin College opened the door for me to several different kinds of music, classical and otherwise,” Clarice said. “I was given wonderful training by Sylvia Rivers and the rest of the Music Department faculty. They helped me to grow as a musician.”
