Life at Austin College

Faces (13)Q: What do you get when you bring together 1,300 bright, active students?

A: A great time.

No doubt about it, life on the Austin College campus is always interesting. Because the majority of our students live on campus, there’s always something happening.

Much of your home life will center around the residence halls, where first-year students are grouped into clusters. Here, strangers quickly become friends and friends become family over late-night study breaks and impromptu pizza parties.

As a student at Austin College, you’ll choose from more than 70 student organizations—ranging from political to academic to service groups. Austin College also offers fraternities and sororities, a full range of intramurals for men and women, and NCAA Division III athletic competition in six sports for men and six for women.

Our location in Sherman, Texas, included on Money magazine’s short list of “most livable small cities” in the U.S, offers restaurants, movies, and shopping options, as well as easy access to the multitude of opportunities in Dallas, south on Highway 75.

So what are you waiting for?
