Dilan Shah ’17, a senior Honors Thesis student in Biology, working with Dr. Lance Barton in the Biology Department, was awarded a $500 Beta Beta Beta Research Scholarship to help fund his thesis project titled “Platinum coordinated compounds bind DNA and alter cellular viability presenting the potential for use as novel anticancer therapeutics” (link unavailable).
