Well, the snakes weren’t really in the grass but the Galapagos tortoise was. Snakes were looped around the necks of Austin College students and faculty as the Biology Interest Group hosted Reptile Day 2016. Every spring, the group hosts the “visitors” to encourage students to learn more about reptiles and their important role in the environment. This year’s event was scheduled as part of Austin College’s Green Week.
