More than 100 students received academic awards April 26 at Austin College’s 2018 Honors Convocation, an all-campus event that highlights the achievements of students and faculty. Most student awards are determined by departmental faculty, and many involve research opportunities as well as financial awards for the next academic year. Awards in teacher education are made to those students entering graduate study through the Austin Teacher Program.
