Zuleyma Ruiz is a first year MPH student in Health Policy & Management at Texas A&M Health Science Center. She earned her BA in public health and business administration from Austin College in January of 2017. During her undergraduate career, she interned for the American Red Cross, was a member of Alpha Phi Omega and the Austin College Service Station board. Currently, she works for The United States Department of Agriculture and plans to further her career in government in the near future. After graduate school, she plans to pursue a J.D. and advocate for preventative care and health care reform in the U.S.
