Faculty Bio:
Dr. Mikidadu Mohammed is Assistant Professor of Economics at Austin College. His research interests are in the areas of theoretical and empirical macroeconomics and applied econometrics with special focus on macro-energy linkages, financialization and financial development dynamics, fiscal and monetary policy effectiveness, and macro-commodity markets dynamics.
His teaching interests lie in the fields of macroeconomics, international economics, development economics, energy economics, and predictive analytics. He is the section lead for international finance, international business, and international trade theory and policy.
He is also the Co-Director of the Austin College-Dallas Federal Reserve Bank Economics Scholars Program.
Prior to joining Austin College, Dr. Mohammed was appointed as a Teaching Associate at the University of Utah Department of Economics, Adjunct Professor at Westminster College, and Research Analyst at the University of Utah Gardner Policy Institute.
