On Saturday, September 29, 2018, Austin College hosted the third annual TEDxAustinCollege event. It featured members of the Austin College community as speakers, TED talks, lunch, and an interactive Discovery Depot to explore ideas worth spreading. The theme was Changing Currents and honored 100 years of co-education at Austin College.

The theme for this year’s event was Pieces of a Mosaic, celebrating the diversity of speakers and ideas.

On September 22, 2016, Austin College hosted the first annual TEDxAustinCollege event, with the theme of Adding Value to a Changing World. It featured our own faculty speakers who gave live TED talks about ideas worth spreading. There were also TED talk videos, an interactive Discovery Depot, a Main Stage for a limited number of people to attend the live event, and on-campus simulcast of the entire programming.
