Internships

100% of students complete an applied learning experience before graduating.

To be prepared for the world ahead, Austin College has designed our curriculum to give you the advantage and blend your classroom experience with applied learning opportunities.  Applied learning includes internships, lab research, and integrated learning experiences such as Model United Nations and study abroad.  This means that you graduate with both a deep knowledge of your subject area and practical experience applying that knowledge in a real-world setting.

Austin College Internship Opportunities

It is a misconception that small means limited. Our community offers myriad internship options in all kinds of career fields for students each year. You don't have to go far to find your opportunity.

Seeking an opportunity beyond the list above? Work with our talented team to design your own Career Study Off Campus (CSOC) in a field that interests you.

Center for Career and Professional Development

The Center for Career and Professional Development is open to students from day one to help you build your confidence and networks. The Center offers assistance with finding internship opportunities in your field through Austin College sponsored programs or any one of numerous non-college related experiences. Internships are an integral way for you to gain insight into the world of work, explore careers, and build your portfolio. These experiences enhance not only your career path, but also your academic path when it comes to choosing a major or considering graduate or professional school.
