A college choir is very different from your high school experience. No early-morning or late-night rehearsals. No competitions. No sight-reading drills. We prepare for performances and tours and we do it around your academics and the other things you want to do.
Members of the A Cappella Choir may also audition for select small groups such as the Consort (vocal jazz), Sons of Pitches (men's a cappella), and the Camerata (select chamber group).
Private lessons are required of all voice majors or minors. Lessons are also available for interested non-majors depending on availability. Students must sing in the A Cappella Choir to take voice lessons.
