Position Summary: | Researches, develops, coordinates and promotes assigned marketing and public affairs initiatives and related events. Seeks, establishes, and maintains relationships with marketing and media professionals. Increases visibility of the college through earned media placements. Creates, reviews, edits, and disseminates written materials for distribution. Manages interns. Performs essential functions personally or in conjunction with designated personnel or third parties.

Minimum Knowledge: (Obtained through education, experience, training, licensure, certification, or through a combination of the aforementioned.) | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Two years directly related experience. Supervisory experience that includes directing and evaluating the work of one nonexempt or exempt employees in an office setting. | |
Desired Knowledge: (Obtained through education, experience, training, licensure, certification, or through a combination of the aforementioned.) | 3-5 years of supervisory experience that includes overseeing, directing, inspecting or guiding the work of others with the responsibility of meeting certain standards of performance of three exempt or nonexempt employees in an office setting. Similar experience in higher education work experience is highly desired. Work experience in advertising, design, or writing his highly desired. | |
