At Austin College the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors are always a priority. With the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to reassure you that we are taking all necessary precautions.
A response team meets regularly to stay on top of the latest information from local, county, state, and federal authorities. We have quarantine residences at the ready and all our facilities are cleaned and disinfected using medical grade cleaners.
In support of our nation’s call to prohibit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and practice social distancing, we are cancelling all in-person campus visits through early summer, or until the CDC allows for movement among our communities. We are offering weekly virtual visits and invite you to participate and explore our campus from the comfort of your living room. Our admission staff are still working to support all students and families through the college admission process and are responding to emails, phone calls, and texts.
- We will coordinate virtual visits or personal phone meetings to assist you in the college admission process.
- A list of resources and tips can be found on our website.
It is important to remember in a time of crisis and concern we remain united as a community and communicate openly.
