Wellness & Safety

Be your best whole student and find support and outlets for who you are beyond the classroom.

Wellness is a lifestyle that assists you in achieving a high level of well-being by integrating body, mind, and spirit. Austin College encourages you to participate in programs, activities, and services that impact your wellness and the wellness of the Austin College community.

Your Mental Health

Austin College is committed to supporting the mental health of our students through these crucial years of development and self-discovery.  The Adams Health Center has two licensed counselors on staff to meet with students on a short-term basis to help deal with personal issues and emotional concerns as they arise. Individual counseling sessions, self-help resources, and workshops on various topics are offered on campus to assist students with their psychological well-being and individual development. Mental Healthcare is also available to students 24/7 through our telehealth provider Academic LiveCare.
