Campus Police & Safety wants to ensure your stay here at Austin College is a positive and safe experience. Our office is open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year in the Jackson Technology Center.

Please remember that all "911" calls go to the Sherman Ambulance/Fire/Police Dispatch Office.
Our Services
- On Campus escorts available 24/7 for safety or injured students who need a ride
- Motorist assistance - jump starts for dead batteries, getting keys out of locked cars, or assisting in calling a tow truck, if needed
- Lock changes for residence halls
- Medical escorts to the emergency room or to a doctor's appointment, if a Student Life representative is not available
- Building or room access to authorized students
- Issue temporary ID cards after hours to those who might have left their ID at home or in their room
The More You Know
In the event of a threat to campus safety, the College will notify the campus in one of two ways. For an active emergency, a member of the Campus Safety team will send mass notifications to students, faculty, and staff by text message, email, and automated phone call. In other cases, the Chief of Campus Police or a designee will send out a campus crime alert via email identifying the concern.
