The Advancement Communications staff prepares and oversees print and digital publications, social media, and website content for Austin College, offering creative production for print and electronic needs, as well as serving as the official news source for College events and community accomplishments.
Staff members produce the official college publication Austin College Magazine and the monthly e-newsletter [at]ac. They assist with digital and print production, plus e-communication support, for a variety of campus-wide programs and events, particularly those that will target off-campus attendees or donor attention. To have a project considered for Advancement Communications production, faculty and staff should complete a Project Request Form as early as possible. Staff members’ availability to work on a project will be increased by advance notice as staff can complete only a limited number of projects each semester.
Press inquiries and invitations are handled by the Director of Public Affairs. Media personnel who wish to connect with a campus expert or particular events of the College should contact the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for contacts and information.
