While at Austin College, Clarissa majored in Psychology, double minored in Education and Spanish and completed her Masters in Teaching. In 2018, she served as Student Body President and in 2019 was chosen to be the Student Commencement Speaker. Throughout her enrollment, she became an intern for the Office of Public Affairs and a Global Outreach Fellow where she traveled to Zambia to support local educators in a primary school. She also participated in several organizations, including the Posey Leadership Institute, Catholic Students Association, Omega Zeta sorority and Residence Life.
Clarissa loves spending time with her family and her cat. She also enjoys connecting with Austin College Alumni across Texas, especially the countless ‘Roos in Frisco ISD.
