|Coordinator, Center for Environmental Studies|
|Full-time (1.0 FTE)|
|Work Schedule:||M-F, 8:30a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends as required; 10 months|
|Position Summary:||Coordinates, develops, plans, communicates, makes recommendations for, and markets: programs, events, and activities related to the Center for Environmental Studies (CES) and Austin College Thinking Green (ACTG). Coordinates the activities of ACTG and the Student Sustainability Fund (SSF) by supervising and advising student leaders and members. Functions as the liaison between ACTG student leadership, their faculty sponsor, and other Austin College organizations or employees. Assists with writing and administering program grants, greenhouse gas inventories, sustainability reporting, and all aspects of Sneed Prairie Restoration experiment. Trains, directs, and monitors student volunteers/workers. Performs essential functions personally, through others, or in conjunction with designated personnel or outside vendors/experts.|
|Minimum Knowledge: (Obtained through education, experience, training, licensure, certification, or through a combination of the aforementioned.)||
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Hold a valid drivers’ license.
|Desired Knowledge: (Obtained through education, experience, training, licensure, certification, or through a combination of the aforementioned.)||
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, or a related field; one to two years related experience
