2024 Heywood C. Clemons Volunteer Service Award

Ginny Harleston has been actively engaged in service to Austin College for many years. She has dedicated her time and talents in support of a variety of departments and initiatives, including religious life, the Music Department, Alumni Engagement, assistance with fundraising for special projects, and recruiting students from East Texas. She prefers to operate in a "behind the scenes" capacity, endeavoring to be of service to her alma mater without any personal recognition. She has also taken a special interest in creating connections between East Texas alumni and Austin College Presidents and their families. In her community, Ginny has served with the League of Women Voters, her children’s school’s PTA and Band Parents Association, her HOA board, and has held several positions in her local United Methodist Church.

Ginny lives in Tyler, Texas. She is married to Jeff Levin ’79 and has two children, Madeleine ’12 (Grayson Burgess ’08) and Elliott.
