2024 Distinguished Alumni Award

Robin Reynolds '74

Robin Reynolds served over 44 years in healthcare volunteer management. While serving as the Assistant Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (CARTI), Robin designed and implemented a program called CARTI Kids, which sponsored educational retreats for pediatric patients and families. She also organized and implemented the addition of three CARTI Auxiliary chapters in Arkansas to provide clinic volunteers and to raise philanthropic support for each of their regional CARTI clinics.

Robin directed the Volunteer Leadership Program at ACH, which was ranked #1 by Benchmark Effort for Networking Children’s Hospitals. During her tenure, the hospital was ranked #1 in number of volunteer hours served among children’s hospitals nationwide for several years. She implemented Knitting for Noggins, a program which continues today, recruiting volunteer knitters across the world to knit caps for patients and family members. Robin also designed and implemented the Festival of Stars program, which fulfills holiday wish lists through donated new toys, clothes, and games for hospitalized children during the holidays.

Robin still lives in her hometown of Little Rock and has one daughter, Samantha Curran, along with her family—David and Sybil.
