Edgar “Eddie” Hernandez graduated in 2015, having double-majored in political science and psychology. During his time at Austin College, Eddie found the value of serving others, which guided him to his life goal of improving the lives of 5,000,000 people.
After graduating from Austin College, Eddie attended the University of Houston, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2019. Eddie is a staff attorney at Houston First Corporation, a government agency dedicated to facilitating economic development for Houston, where he oversees liability, organizational development, and legislative initiatives.
During his free time, Eddie volunteers as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston and serves on the Board of Directors for a veteran mental health advocacy. While at Austin College, Eddie was elected vice president of Student Assembly and was a member of Zeta Chi Beta, Sigma Phi Chi, and Alpha Phi Omega.
