2023 Distinguished Alumni Award

Carol Wiley Toll retired from a 40-year career in technology where she worked on the cutting edge as an innovator. She led teams to their goals by embracing the technological and cultural changes necessary for success. Carol worked at Andersen Consulting, MBNA Corporation, and Bank of America. She enjoyed mentoring, and when the opportunity arose to hire new colleagues, Carol looked for those from diverse backgrounds with skills necessary for a winning team. 

In 2007, Carol was awarded Bank of America’s Award of Excellence for being “the Best of the Best,” and later in her career, she volunteered for a formal mentorship program as she took on a multi-year project across all mainframe information technology disciplines to hire recent college graduates in India. She finished her career as the IT representative for joint projects involving finance and human resources.
