Geoff and Jessica Wescott, alumni of Austin College, attribute much of their professional success to Austin College and how they learned how to learn here.  

“If I had a gap of any kind, Austin College helped me know how to close it faster,” Geoff said. “I learned how to learn, and I kept my appetite for learning strong to continue to improve myself.”  

“To Geoff’s point,” Jessica said, “There’s something very unique about the education you receive at Austin College that will pay dividends into the future regardless of where you decide to go with your career.” 

Geoff ’08 and Jessica Westcott ’09, served as the 2023 Todd A. Williams Executive-in-Residence speakers, in a panel discussion on October 10. The panel was moderated by Marion Jones ’20, assistant director of Center for Career Development and internship coordinator.  

Geoff graduated with honors from Austin College with a degree in Business Administration and Economics. In early 2023, Geoff founded Brockett Street Capital which targets opportunistic commercial real estate opportunities that are undervalued from a lack of competitive buyers either due to market conditions, capital structures, or re-positioning needs.

Jessica graduated with honors in Economics and currently serves as the CFO and COO of Stellar Service Brands based in Dallas, Texas. In her role at Stellar, she leads strategy and planning, data analysis, technology, digital marketing, finance, and legal teams. Stellar’s mission is to promote and grow the American Dream through small business ownership in the home-service franchising industry.
