Austin College is located in Sherman, Texas, at the heart of the burgeoning north Texas technology corridor and miles from Lake Texoma, the second largest lake in Texas. Sherman and Denison, our nearest neighbor, are home to many beautiful outdoor recreation areas, parks, pools, pitches, and stadiums. Though the area is experiencing rapid growth, downtown Sherman and Denison maintain a quaint hometown feel with shopping, dining, and entertainment options for all ages.  Both cities offer a free outdoor concert series each summer. The Choctaw Casino & Resort, located about 30 miles north in Durant, Oklahoma, also brings in big-name concerts throughout the year.  About 30 miles to the south is McKinney, Texas and the northern edge of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
