The Nancy Bryant ’67 and Jerry Taylor Scholarship is awarded to students interested in majoring in Physics or Engineering Physics, or completing the Pre-Engineering professional track at Austin College. Competitive applicants will have minimum scores of 650 for SAT Math or 26 for ACT Math and Science components, and a high school GPA of 3.5+. A limited number of awards are available each year between $5,000 and $7,500 annually. Additionally, recipients may be eligible for a one-time stipend up to $4,000 for an approved summer research or internship opportunity. This award is renewable each year with the endorsement of the physics department stipulating a student has met satisfactory performance expectations.
