This book discusses wealth creation and the value we associate with it in the context of today’s growing inequality. The author challenges us to re-think value creation as value extraction. Are wealthy people more productive that others, or do they have the tools to extract value from the economy? Could it be that controlling the narrative allows wealthy individuals and companies to claim a larger share of the global wealth and to justify not paying back into the system? Along with these questions, this group will consider what insight this book can provide regarding the current political climate.
