I graduated from Austin College in January of 2014 with a major in Psychology and minor in Exercise and Sport Science. Upon graduation, I went on to complete an internship for the Kansas City Chiefs in their one-of-a-kind educational center known as the Sports Lab. This center aligns with the NFL’s Play 60 initiative to encourage kids to be active for 60 minutes a day in order to reverse childhood obesity. Next, I went on to obtain a Masters of Education in Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Positive Coaching in the Fall of 2016 at the University of Missouri-Columbia. While at the University of Missouri, I served as a Graduate Research Assistant and worked as an AmeriCorps member for Jumpstart, the national non-profit organization whose objective is working towards the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. I then transitioned into the coaching profession working with the outside linebackers for Southwest Minnesota State and obtained a Masters of Business Administration in the Fall of 2017. I have gone full circle and am currently an Assistant Football Coach and Lifetime Sports instructor here at Austin College and am excited to be back!
