Yes! Current 6th-12th grade band and orchestra students who were Fall 2025 beginners are eligible to attend. Current 8th-12th grade vocalists who have been studying voice since Fall 2025 are eligible as well.

If you want to study alongside other motivated students and learn from Austin College music professors, regional music directors, and Sherman Symphony Orchestra musicians, ACSMC is a great option. Our classes and rehearsals are led by seasoned professionals who can support the most advanced students.

No; all financial assistance is need-based. Financial aid inquiries can be submitted in the ACSMC registration form no later than May 15.

All band and orchestra students must bring their instrument and any required accessories/supplies each day. Percussion students should bring their sticks, mallets, and practice pad. All students must bring their music folder/binder daily.

The concert will take place Friday, June 12 at 4:30pm in Wynne Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public, and it will be recorded (not live-streamed). Parking is available in all campus lots.
