Dr. Rathna Nuti ’09 has been named in D Magazine’s directory for Best Doctors in Collin County 2023 (as well as the four years prior). Dr. Nuti gained early acceptance to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine after graduating from AC. Dr. Nuti is known for providing “innovative, compassionate care” to all her patients.

On the Spring Equinox, Austin College celebrated its scientific history and gathered around the Solar Observatory’s Gnomon hole, which concentrates a beam of sunlight through the ceiling, to witness the sun land on the equinox marker. This facility is the only of its kind on a U.S. college campus.

Austin College welcomes the vernal equinox with an observation event in their Solar Observatory in the atrium of the IDEA Center. Physics professor Dr. David Baker provided a scientific and historical overview of solstice markers during the event.

Dr. Muller graduated with his Ph.D. from Columbia University and has since served a professor, researcher, and author. The Will Mann Richardson Lecture aims to invite experts in economics, philosophy, law, and government.
