Position Title: Office Coordinator – Johnson Center
Employment Type: 0.5 FTE
Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours M-F between 8:30AM – 5:00PM; 10 month (Aug 1 through May 31); some evenings until 6:30 pm as required.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Under general supervision, performs administrative tasks (including document editing and proofreading); coordinates faculty events, lectures, and workshops; and facilitates various office functions. Performs essential functions personally, through others, or in conjunction with designated personnel or outside vendors/experts.
Minimum Knowledge: (Obtained through education, experience, training, licensure, certification, or through a combination of the aforementioned.) High School Diploma or equivalent, 3 years clerical and/or administrative experience. Experience may be substituted with additional education up to 2 years.
Skills: To fully meet job expectations, the incumbent must:
- utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) or appropriate alternative software to the extent required to effectively perform the essential functions;
- communicate effectively using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to inform or persuade the intended audience..
