Description: Movies and politics are intertwined in many respects. This class will bring movies from across the world and will talk about the content in relation to actual politics. We will watch movies like All President’s Men on Nixon, the Cold War from Poland, Der Lieben Der Anderen from Eastern Germany (GDPR), Once Upon a Time in Anatolia (Turkey), Persepolis (Iran), and more. Through such movies, the students will find the connection between politics and fiction. They will write reviews on the movies and will also discuss the content in classroom.
