My passion is advocating for vulnerable communities that inherently face different health outcomes due their social determinants of health. I currently work as an MSM Peer Navigator at Brotherhood Inc, a community-based non-profit which focuses on HIV prevention among minority populations in New Orleans. As peer navigator, I concentrate on earning the trust of clients in the LGBTQ community and link them to HIV preventive care. (Miguel did a study abroad in Brazil).
