Upon graduating Austin College in 2008, I took a job with the United States Department of Defense as an applied research mathematician. After a very interesting but brief time there, I left to pursue a career in medicine. I attended UT Southwestern in Dallas for medical school where I also completed a residency in Emergency Medicine.
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern and work clinically in both the Parkland and Clements University Hospital Emergency Departments. Outside of my clinical responsibilities, I am completing a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics with research interests in clinical decision support and predictive modeling.
