Amy Sierra and Evan Powell were crowned Austin College 2019 Homecoming queen and king at halftime of the football game Saturday afternoon, October 26.
Homecoming queen Amy Sierra, a junior from Dallas, Texas, is completing a biology major and an art minor. She is a Resident Assistant, a captain of the Aussie Dance Team, and is a member of Alpha Delta Chi sorority and of the Student Organization of Modern Art.
Homecoming king Evan Powell, a junior from Carrollton, Texas, is completing majors in psychology and healthcare administration. He is a member of the Austin College football team, a resident assistant, and a researcher in psychology.

Phoebe Angaye, a senior from Denton, Texas, is completing a major in economics and a minor in creative writing. She is president of Black Expressions and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honorary Society of Economics.
Will Gerber, a senior from Lubbock, Texas, is completing majors in International Economics & Finance and East Asian Studies. He is President of Greek Council and a member of Lambda Chi.
Seth Howard, a senior from Denton, Texas, is completing majors in Economics and Finance. He is vice president of Student Assembly, the Head Tutor for the Academic Skills Center, and a member of the USA Powerlifting Team.
Will McCarthy, a junior from Waco, Texas, is completing majors in Art and Neurosciences and minoring in Spanish. He is president of Student Organization of Modern Art and a board member for the Service Station.
Oda Sarabia, a junior from Dallas, Texas, is completing majors in Spanish and History and plans to complete the Austin Teacher Program. She is a Public Affairs student intern, secretary of the Student Assembly, a Posey Leadership Institute fellow, a member of Omega Zeta, and a Students Today/Alumni Tomorrow ambassador.
Katie Seibert, a senior from Medina, Texas, is completing a major in Economics and a minor in Spanish. She is on the Austin College tennis team, a Students Today/Alumni Tomorrow ambassador, and serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
Hunter Williams, a junior from Garland, Texas, is completing majors in History and Political Science and a minor in Spanish. He is student body president, a Sumners Scholar, a Students Today/Alumni Tomorrow ambassador, an Admission Tour Guide, a Communication/Inquiry student leader, and a member of Chi Tau Chi fraternity.
