Austin College student clubs range from the academic (art, biology, chemistry, pre-law, pre-med, physics) to ethnic, environmental, gender issues, political, religious, athletic, cultural, and international relations clubs.
The Austin College Service Station coordinates community service activities ranging from Habitat for Humanity and the Alternative Spring Break program to the Saturday Morning Program, which allows students to interact with neighborhood children one Saturday a month in cultural, recreational, and social activities.
Austin College has 8 local sororities and 9 local fraternities, with Rush held every spring.
The Austin College Kangaroos compete at the NCAA Division III level in men’s baseball, basketball, football, soccer, swimming and diving, and tennis; and in women’s basketball, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, and volleyball. Austin College also hosts both cheerleading and spirit squads.
Intramurals include flag football, sand volleyball, ultimate frisbee, pub games, floor hockey, indoor soccer, basketball, bowling, volleyball, racquetball, table tennis, soccer, softball, and tennis.
