Alumni Art Educators Exhibit Opens During Homecoming
SHERMAN, TEXAS — As part of its Homecoming 2023 festivities, Austin College will host a reception celebrating an exhibition of art created by 19 alumni working in the field of Art Education. The reception will be held Saturday, November 4, from 4-5 p.m. in the Forster Art Complex Dennis Gallery.
The open theme allows artists to exhibit work that best represents their current art practices. Participants were encouraged to submit entries in any media, including but not limited to: painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, video art, mixed media, performance-based art, and installations.
The exhibit will run from October 30 through December 8 in the Forster Art Complex Dennis Gallery. The Gallery’s regular hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
