Employee Austin College Tuition benefit
Eligible employees (staff and faculty) and their qualified dependents, including spouses, are eligible for certain QTR benefits after 24 months' employment.
Applicants must meet the regular admission requirements of the college, and will be admitted to classes on a "space available" basis only, unless an employee is seeking a degree and has an approved degree plan (in which case an employee would be eligible for classes as other, regular students).
Enrollment in Austin College courses by employees needs to be reviewed with the division executive for the purpose of coordinating work schedules and work assignments and other responsibilities

Open Classroom
Each spring, in conjunction with the Johnson Center, Austin College faculty open their classrooms for one week and invite staff to observe and participate in their classes. The week is then concluded with a gathering for staff to share in their experiences and takeaways. This event is an opportunity for staff to sample a class in a variety of topics, interact with students and faculty, and catch a first-hand glimpse of the exceptional education received by our students.
