Austin College A Cappella Choir and Chamber Orchestra to Present Collaborative Concert
SHERMAN, TEXAS — The Austin College A Cappella Choir, directed by Associate Professor of Music Dr. Wayne Crannell, along with the Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Professor of Music Dan Dominick, will present a collaborative concert at 7:30 p.m. on May 6, 2024, in Wynne Chapel-Grum Sanctuary.
The Chamber Orchestra will perform Fauré’s “Pavane,” among others, while the A Cappella Choir will perform a variety of pieces. The choir and orchestra will come together to perform “Magnificat,” by early eighteenth-century composer Charles T. Pachelbel, in addition to other selections.
The concert is free and open to the public.
