Description: Diet and daily physical activity are important determinants of health. This course will explore how sound nutrition, complemented by exercise can enhance health, fitness and sport performance. Accurate, up to date information related to nutrition and physical activity will be explored and discussed. Topics include the essential nutrients, a balanced healthful diet, diet and disease, weight control and body composition, physical activity recommendations for health, and myths and misconceptions associated with nutrition for physically active individuals. Daily group physical activity is required.

Section Requisites: Estimated book fee: $50. Estimated out of pocket fee: $40 which is the Nautilus fee that will be paid directly to Nautilus.
