Description: Lifestyle behaviors such as making sound nutrition choices, being physically active, and stress management are important determinants of health and overall quality of life. Through daily workouts and a variety of self-assessment tools, this course will give students the knowledge and skills to make meaningful and lasting behavior changes. Accurate, up to date information related to nutrition and physical activity will be explored and discussed. Topics include the components of physical fitness and designing effective workout programs, nutrition, body composition and weight management and stress management and sleep. Daily group exercise is required.
