Faculty Bio:
Teaching at Austin College is a dream come true for me. I have 23 years of experience in the public schools including being a teacher, curriculum director and a principal. Throughout these experiences I imagined how rewarding it would be to have the opportunity to work with future teachers at the college level. I am passionate about effective teaching practices and truly believe that good teaching is art in every sense of the word. Austin College has afforded me the opportunity to work with amazing pre-service students year after year. I continually see that these new teachers are a path to the positive difference that we want to see in the world. Teaching here is rewarding beyond measure and has provided me with a rich second layer to a lifetime commitment to teaching.
