Faculty Bio:
I was drawn to teaching and research during my years as an undergraduate. The discussions and conversations I had with my Spanish professors over literature, film, ideas, aesthetics, and language fueled my growing interest in Latin American literature and culture. This interest grew into a passion which continues to this day. If I can share even a bit of this vibrant world of the mind and senses with my students, then life is good.
