After graduating from seminary I became a hospice chaplain, eventually becoming interested in management and leadership. I am currently responsible for the end-of-life care for about 400 of my neighbors. I’m extremely lucky to get to work with amazing nurses, social workers, nursing aides, and chaplains.
ACtivators was a highlight of my college experience. It’s where I met my future wife, Sarah Allen (included in the picture), as well as many of my favorite friends and colleagues. It’s also where I realized that I didn’t have the energy or stamina for youth ministry and that hospice ministry was more my speed.
