Description: This course focuses on women in business, from success stories to workplace challenges. This course will review biographies of women creators, innovators, and leaders who have launched some of the most well-recognized brands, companies, and organizations today. This course will also address leadership and gender at work by learning of the root causes of barriers for women in the workplace, checking one’s own gender biases, and gaining a better understanding of the path women must take to leadership. This class will utilize different learning techniques from conducting research presentations, small group discussions, and first-hand experience through guest speakers.
